Cambodia benchmarks NACC’s best practices on adoption, and alternative child care
QUEZON CITY – The National Authority for Child Care (NACC) hosted a knowledge sharing meeting for the delegates of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation from the Kingdom of Cambodia to discuss best practices on domestic administrative adoption, inter-country adoption, and alternative child care.

The NACC's 1st National Congress on Adoption and Alternative Child Care: “Building a LeaGUe of AMPON Heroes for Children,” seeks to strengthen ties and partnerships with local government units (LGUs) and capacitate them to carry out their shared responsibility in adoption and alternative child care mandate.
What is NACC
The National Authority for Child Care (NACC) is newly created attached quasi-juducial agency of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)
All duties functions, and responsibilities of the ICAB, the DSWD, and other government agencies relating to alternative child care and adoption will be transferred to NACC.
Universal Children's Day
Ang National Authority for Child Care ay nakikiisa sa selbrasyon ng Universal Children's Day in the Philippines na idiniklara sa pamamagitan ng Proclamation No. 265 s. 1967.
