Training on Intercountry Adoption Program & Preparing Children for Adoption

The ICAB’s Training on Inter-country Adoption (ICA) Program among our local stakeholders is part of ICAB’s advocacy and networking functions as well as its commitment to increase their level of functionality.  The Capacity Building Package on ICA Program aims to strengthen the social workers’ capability in handling adoption cases particularly those which will go through the inter-country adoption route.  The activity is scheduled for APRIL 23 – 27, 2018 to be held at  AZALEA RESIDENCES  HOTEL ( #7 Leonard Wood Rd, Baguio, 2600 Benguet)Expected participants are Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) social workers from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Non-Governmental Organization: Child Caring/Child Placing Agencies (NGO CCAs/CPAs), Regional Trial Court/Family Court (RTC/FC), Local Government Units/Local Social Welfare and Development Offices (LGUs/LSWDOs – Provincial, City, Municipal) and hospitals.
