In celebration of the 30th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit in the Philippines and National Labor Day, please be informed that April 28, 2017 has been declared a non-working day. May 1, 2017 labor day is a regular holiday. ICAB will not be able to attend your calls on those days. During this period the ICAB office will be closed.  We will begin normal operations on May 2, 2017.

Please be advised that from April 5-7, 2017 the ICAB staff will undergo a staff development training outside of Metro Manila. A skeletal team shall be left at the office to receive documents.  ICAB will resume normal operations on April 10-12, 2017. However, in observance of the Lenten season ICAB will be CLOSED from April 13-16, 2017.  ICAB will resume regular operations on April 17, 2017.

Training on Intercountry Adoption & Preparing Children for Adoption

The ICATrainingB’s Training on Inter-country Adoption (ICA) Program among our local stakeholders is part of ICAB’s advocacy and networking functions as well as its commitment to increase their level of functionality.  The Capacity Building Package on ICA Program aims to strengthen the social workers’ capability in handling adoption cases particularly those which will go through the inter-country adoption route.  The activity is scheduled for April 24 . 28, 2017 to be held at HIVE HOTEL & CONVENTION PLACE (#68 Scout Tuazon corner Scout Madrinan Street, Barangay South Triangle, Quezon City). Expected participants are REGION II social workers from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Non-Governmental Organization: Child Caring/Child Placing Agencies (NGO CCAs/CPAs), Regional Trial Court/Family Court (RTC/FC), Local Government Units/Local Social Welfare and Development Offices (LGUs/LSWDOs – Provincial, City, Municipal) and hospitals.
